So the best they can do is some free AA and exploiting blu-ray as best as possible (which would be probably be too expensive for exclusivity unless it was just an HD collection)? Geez, now I really can't blame people for expecting games to be 360/PS3.

I read through the thread, but couldn't find any information in it.  Has a date for the demo been released?

This game looks promising. Seems like from the vids I skimmed thru a Japanese made open world RPG.

I'm counting down to this one. Not gonna read up too much, just wanna get it and be surprised for better or worse and I'm guessing for better.

This one vid summed up a few things nicely.

So, it doesn't have online multiplayer, you just download other people's custom pawns?

I would love actual online multiplayer.

i would love to play a demo of this asap i keep looking at it and thinking that looks really fun and has some interesting idea but the mechanics are the make or break on this one. if i can aim an arrow as well as jump on a creature and not feel like i'm fighting the controls too much i'm sold.

If this plays similar to a Dark Souls-lite, in that my sympathetic nervous system isn't making me a quivering jelly, I'll be happy. I can't play Dark Souls until I get my hands on some xanax

Haha, Demon's Souls' Tower of Latria stressed me out badly.  I played it at ~2AM in the dark with the screams, moans, and instant kill enemies and man, my heart was beating fast.  It had an amazing atmosphere alongside the difficulty.

I didn't really feel any of the stress in Dark Souls, mostly because I had gotten over it in Demon's.  You should be okay.

if this plays as a soulslike or soulslike lite i'll be so incredibly happy. to me it looks like shadow of the colossus meets dragon age for battle system. shadow of the colossus meets soulslike would be amazing. imagine a soulslike with a party system where you could change from character to character and good AI when your not playing a party member good AI isn't something i've seen a lot of though.

This game is easily going from the most bland initial impression to... damned interesting.

Everything about this game seems so up my damn alley. It doesn't seem like Capcom capcomed up this game w/ some shitty DLC haps.

It's not as bad as something like SFxT, but it's definitely there. On the plus side it sounds easier to ignore than 12 extra characters, and I think I can forgive ALMOST anything so long as the Berserk DLC comes over.
