Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

Subtle lol.... there's no way the music will be as good though.

HZ was one of may favorite genesis games, though my older cousin always beat my ass.

I played a bit of AirMech at PAX.  It seemed fun but I will admit I didn't spend a ton of time with it.  Can't say I ever played Herzog Zwei, though...

Herzog was incredibely challenging, especialy if you didn't have a manual telling you what the unit command symbols meant :)

Herzog Zwei, Dune 2 and General Chaos. Those three were probably my most played Megadrive games when I was a kid. SNES couldn`t really offer anything comparable in terms of real-time strategies(but it did have the best turn-based wargame of all time - P.T.O. II). Not sure if I`d enjoy Herzog Zwei if I played it now. The gameplay is too simplistic by modern standards. I`ll keep an eye on AirMech though.
