Uh, when it first came out for PC it had a collector's edition box too, plus a digital collector's edition.
The collector's edition coming in April is for the 360. The edition, which, you know, is a fair bonus for those of us who had no PC and had to wait nearly a year to play TW2.
CDPR is an incredibly small company. I'm not going to pretend I know anything about programming, but from what I've heard from several sources, it's a lot easier to port a PC game to 360 than it is to PS3. I highly doubt they had the resources to work on a PS3 version at the same time. I believe they haven't officially ruled out doing a PS3 port, but we'd have to wait a while just like we did for the 360 version.

Uh, by collector's edition I mean the Dark Edition. The Enhanced Edition IS coming to PC, but the DE - which is like $100 - appears to be 360 only.

WHAT about this is annoying to you? How is a re-release on PC going to hurt anyone? People who already own the game have access to all the new content for free. People who don't own it and are interested can pick it up with all of the new content on disc. Odds are good that the price of the re-release will even be lower than the original version. I am not understanding the logic of your annoyance. It sounds as though you're mad at them for releasing something that makes their game more accessible and convenient for new players. And that certainly doesn't make any sense.

When did I say re releasing it on the pc would hurt someone? I just want a ps3 release even if its only a limited run.
Thats all. I see alot of annoyance at that fact as well, not just from me.
Hell I dont even want to buy it on the ps3. I just understand what it feels like to be left out.

If a limited release is fine then so should a late release. Nevermind how annoying it can be that a game daring to be exclusive is BAD, short of it being paid/DLC exclusive nonsense anyway.

A late release is just annoying ( which is all I said)
I am all for exclusives, but this was never made really with that purpose in mind

Annoying, but a reality. I waited a bloody year for Mass Effect 2 (PS3). You think that wasn't annoying? Hell yeah it was. Was it worth the wait, the $59.99 + two absurd Canadian taxes on top? Every penny.
I'm doing it again for TW2 because I'm patient, I finally have a 360 and I want to play it that badly. Sometimes all you can do is wait. Deal with it.

Mass effect 2 was an interesting situation.
It likely would of remained a 360 exclusive. BUT
then EA bought bioware and that changed things for the better and worse.

I just tried the demo, not entirely sure what to make of it. The combat is pretty fun, but the dialogue and story seemed a bit too corny. The voice acting was rather mixed quality too, some of it's perfectly fine but some of the fake English accents are cringeworthy, with certain words pronounced in ways that no one does here.
I'm encouraged enough by the combat to want to buy it some point, but I won't be getting it next week.

That's a slippery slope argument, and it's the same as saying legalizing gay marriage will some day lead to the legalization of human-animal marriage.
That's an absolutely terrible analogy. One has nothing to do with the other.

Don't follow your reasoning.
Putting parts of the game behind paywalls could feasibly lead to the game being sold online in chunks.
It has nothing to do with gay marriage. That analogy doesn't even make sense.

The argument made isn't feasible. A small piece of optional and unnecessary content being FREE to those who buy new is not logically followed by selling chunks. Of a game online. And gay marriage isn't supposed to be related. It's another example of a slippery slope argument.
