http://www.1up.com/news/grand-theft-auto-v-announcedSince when do companies announce trailers? :P Not surprising anyway. Washington DC was my guess too. This after I've been telling myself for the longest time that I should get around to playing IV...

If it's in Washington then I can see myself spending countless hours driving around the Whitehouse in a Monster truck.

Given how they enjoy political satire and commentary, DC seems a pretty ripe choice. This also seems to hint it's in Washington http://i.imgur.com/Q4RnQ.jpgMG

Obligatory: I loved III and Vice City to death. Endless hours of fun. Never played San Andreas. I tried out 4 when I got the 360 but I didn't care for the cell phone haps or trying to friend/date people. I'm sure if I gave it another go I'd get all up in it.

I gave up at the bank heist mission, not sure why. I keep thinking I should pick it up again to at least unlock the last island so I can see what it has to offer.

Hype~
Would be cool if you played as a banker or politician out for vengeance against his co-workers screwing him over or something, financially or otherwise. And now his new goal is to seek out corruption in high places.

No matter what happens, i'll get it for sure. Also, gta3 was amazing for it's day where as 4 and lotd was a bit boring for me, bogt was better. Don't care about location, just not outback Australia.

I'd like to see some more open country again, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same huge scale as San Andreas, but preferably there'd be more to it than just a few city-islands this time. Just Cause 2 filled the void left after San Andreas, but it was perhaps a bit too big.

San Andreas was amazing. I thought IV was a little worse, but fun for a while. I hope V brings back the sense of progression and stats systems.

Trailer here. It's Los Santos again (GTA version of L.A.), though it's unclear as yet if the other cities from San Andreas will feature too.

Our main man seems to be a family man. Curious how that'll plug into the story. :P Bring it on, nevertheless, I expect a lot of the same (GTA games are kinda formulaic by now, hopefully we get some interesting changes.
