Hopped in the beta this weekend and got a Slayer to level 10.  Was alright, once I got used to the controls.  Not sure how I feel about the battle system, but I think it's more or less I didn't like the class.  Going to try a different class for sure, once retail hits.  Considering at level 10 I was still on the first island, there has to be a lot of choice in where to level or something because I think I counted like 15-17 zones on the map.  Real interested to see it.

Also what's up with the system-wide messages about monsters about to run over some city?  Do events like that happen often?

I think they're doing an amazing job for pre-launch news/hype. It looks like we ARE getting the Queen of Argons content patch with level cap increase to 60. That's a fuckton of endgame content and all around game improvements. I think they're going to need alot more than those 10 servers. They've basically got MMO launch 101 covered.

What content was there pre-Queen of Argons?  Are they skipping any post-game content to bring us the latest Korea has?

I guess what I'm asking is are they, in essence, giving us Karazhan while skipping vanilla raid content?  I haven't followed the Korean version at all so when I heard about the Queen of Argon content, this is what came to mind.

You are underestimating the huge stigma against Korean mmos now since Aion left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths. Some people will not touch it because of that.Another factor is that during the 5 beta rarely 2 or more servers were medium pop at primetime. It is also launching very close to Diablo 3 and Guildwars 2 and many people are passing it over. We will truly know how many people are playing the 19th, the day preorder people get a 1 day advantage over the non preorders, as everyone will be playing then.I think 10 servers is a safe estimate, and that may be too many. If they need more they can always just add them.

No, not skipping any content. Level cap was 58 previously. The Queen of Argon's patch increases the level cap to 60 and is adding 2 new dungeons to the mix: Balder's Temple, and Fane of Kaprima. Please note that this content update is in two parts - the second part to my knowledge hasn't been released in Korea yet.  

The dungeons Sigil Adstringo, Ascent of Saravash and Suryati's Peak are totally new. They're also retuning the dungeon levels.

I was going to join Dragonfall, but I think I'm going to try a PvP server first.  I generally like PvP, except for Swtor, so I figured I'd give it a shot.  Not sure how it'll work out since you basically can PK anyone.  I know there are penalties for killing people too far under your level, but I don't know how much of an effect notoriety has on the game.

Also, what does everyone think of the Vanarch system?  Good idea or ripe for abuse?  I see a ton of potential drama stemming from it =P
