Not yet, but I'm going to.  I'm not interested in the beta test that much, but the head start is a giant plus because I would have the whole weekend to play if everything goes smoothly.  Also, if I downloaded the beta client, would I have to re-download it upon early access start?

Probably not. There may be a patch but the client should be complete. You may reconsider participating in the beta cause per a recent interview we will be keeping our beta test toons into LIVE.

Ah, then maybe I'll do the early access after all.  It would kind of suck to not have access to the retail client until Saturday for a 30gb install. 

Are you sure Beta toons go to live?  I read that we get to keep characters between different beta tests if you preorder, but haven't seen them say about live yet.  Are you sure?  If it's true, that's pretty awesome and I would definitely do at least the last beta test or two.

Take it with a grain of salt though because they were interviewed and quoted several times about no IP Block and look how that turned out. Just remember they still plan to wipe before OPEN beta.

At the very least there will be no NDA'S for closed and open beta, so I expect alot of community coverage.

Still can't beleive this is running without the high texture pack. The CBT1 is packed to the gills, when I logged off there were 29 channels open (instanced zones) for the Isle of Dawn and all were high population. Thank god for dynamic mob spawn rates.

Just played for a few hours and here are my impressions so far: game is pretty, combat is fun and interactive but the story (yeah i know its an mmo) is pretty blah. After playing SWTOR, I guess I want more out of my characters. Story and questing feel straight from Aion.
