Finally made it out to the High Elf city of Allemantheia. Here's the vid. City is crazy pretty. The fly-by on the Pegasus is jaw dropping.

All the Pegasus fly-by stuff is fantastic. This game is just so vibrant and colorful ... it's been a long-ass time since a game has sold me on "eye candy" alone.

Currently lvl ... 18? 19? Something like that. Elin Mystic, named "Tonelico" (of course), on Dragonfall server. :)

The magical girl stuff is blatant pedo-bait, and the surprising volume of anime otaku players playing  Elin is creepy. Outside of the androgynous High Elf Males, the other male characters are pretty nice looking. The sexualized female body armor doesnt bother me though. The game is rated M after all. At least they put shorts on the Elin. The game is still an amazing gameplay experience. Nice troll attempt though :p

Game looks interesting.  Currently doing SWTOR since I finally got my new computer.  Does the game play well on mouse and keyboard compared to controller?  Curious since the gameplay is supposedly action rpgish.  Also, how well would my new rig run it?  8gb Mushkin Ram, i5 2400 3.1ghz quad core, HD Radeon6870.

The game controls great with both. It really depends on which class you play and how you map your buttons. Navigating menus is a little cumbersome with the controller since you use your right analog stick as the mouse pointer. The game is totally action, so with a controller it feels like Monster Hunter. I prefer using mouse and keyboard because of the camera speed advantage. I play a Warrior so mobility is key and I just can't attack, move and swing the camera like I want to with ease using the controller. Now on my Lancer or Berzerker it feels just fine since they don't need to be as mobile.

Your PC should run it like gang busters. Its not a sloppy mess like SWTOR's Hero Engine. The game runs on Unreal Engine 3, which is like 8 years old and looks amazing. It scales really well too. I posted a benchmark tool for the game a few pages back.

Also, if anyone is interested, amazon currently has TERA regular for 24.99 and Collectors Edition for 29.99 on their digital downloads.  If I hadnt had to spend my paycheck on bills, id pick it up this weekend for sure.
