Ok, maybe that's a bit extreme for the day a firmware update and a beta get released, but still, it's looking really good tomorrow. Those that signed up for the Warhawk demo will be able to play it tomorrow, and that Firmware update finally allows DVD and game upscaling. Even if they fuck up the latter somehow (only in widescreen or 4:3 or whatever), the DVD bit is still awesome news.

The game upscaling would make me really want to invest in a PS3. I mean, I've been fine so far with standard def stuff, but considering the many hours of games I have yet to play on the PS2, I'd love to not have to stay in standard def for the year or more it takes me to play through my games.
