Technically this should probably go in Misc - but with FFIII, Contact, and unsurprisingly Pokemon coming soon, plus several others that I'm forgetting/may yet come to the US, it won't qualify for being there much longer. :P

I only had one online capable game as of the original post, and that's Mario Kart. But now I have Contact and will likely get more, so here they are:

Stupidly late of a reply, but nope. It hasn't been announced as a launch title, and unlike Metroid Prime 3, was never poised to be one either.

It'll likely be around May or June at the earliest, and even if they finish it earlier, they may want to space out their big releases, IE Metroid and Mario.

With that said, it sounds like you can share Friend's codes between systems, or something so you can contact people over the net. I'll need to look into it more/see what comes up, but whether it's Friend's Codes or something else, that information can be shared here too.
