But in hippy-dippy voodoo type games: illusionists, inter-dimentional empaths and stuff.
At heart, I always want to be the perfect private dick who can get in, figure out what the hell is going on, maybe fucker things up a bit, and send in the tanks to clean up. I played a table-top called "Dark Conspiracy" for years, and I was ALWAYS a mystic... basically someone who could enter the spirit dimension, look through walls, go inside people's heads, and read/write their mind like it was an unencrypted floppy disk. Probably the only really fun tabletop adventuring I've ever done. Video games don't tend to have that kind of stuff, and when they do, it's usually kinda boring.
