I had to tape episodes and bring those over for my friend b/c he didn't have cable.
I remember the first time watched it I taped it because some friends of mine wanted to watch a marathon from 12am to 6 am but they had no tapes to record nor they could program the VCR. At the time I had never heard of the show and when I saw a commercial I though the drawing was horrible (but I didn't know it was on purpose).
The next day after class we went to their house and I though, well, since I recorded it I can at least watch a little, and to my surprise I loved it. I think the first ep I've seen was the one one of the kids fall in love for the substitute teacher but she turns out to be a russian spy. Ever since that day I became a fan!
The n64 game on the other hand... I had but could not like it one bit.
