I had to tape episodes and bring those over for my friend b/c he didn't have cable.

I remember the first time  watched it I taped it because some friends of mine wanted to watch a marathon from 12am to 6 am but they had no tapes to record nor they could program the VCR. At the time I had never heard of the show and when I saw a commercial I though the drawing was horrible (but I didn't know it was on purpose).

The next day after class we went to their house and I though, well, since I recorded it I can at least watch a little, and to my surprise I loved it. I think the first ep I've seen was the one one of the kids fall in love for the substitute teacher but she turns out to be a russian spy. Ever since that day I became a fan!

The n64 game on the other hand... I had but could not like it one bit.

I didn't really care about this at all, but I'll have to admit it does look great.

Gameplay:

Game is also delayed till March.

Not my cup of tea, but it does look pretty good. I could really see this game being a wet dream of sorts to those who are a fan or south park or that particular "brand" of humor. From the looks of it, quality control in regard to gameplay and presentation are remarkably high.

The fact that a line of battle dialogue is "DIE A**HOLE" made this a *must* for me.  Because it's like real life?  I know I've finished a Shadow of the Colossus battle or two like that

Ok so this was delayed again. But it does look pretty great. I love when South Park sort of highlights youthful innocence with ribald situations.

Here's a little clip
http://youtu.be/XYuuLw7iEDg

The battles look fun but a little stilted. The dialogue and art is fantastic.

I'm also tempted to get the special edition for that cute Cartman statue guy

Fuck, didn't see the above post. But the other crap I said still stands.

I almost pre-ordered a week or two ago. Glad I waited now.

Saw some gameplay footage a few days ago. To be honest I'm very surprised at how good it looks compared to what you might expect from a licensed game, especially the battle system. It does seem to be very cutscene heavy and linear though, but thats only going by the few minutes I watched. Definitely interested.

Although the game isn't for everyone, they seriously nailed the South Park attitude.

The entire RPG is a group of kids playing pretend. It seems like it's going to be really fun.

It seems surprisingly neat.  I'll have to second everyone saying it looks very good for a licensed game.  It's coming out in March, though, and I'm spending way too much in March.

I'm torn between hopping on board with this to try something different and getting to something thats been forever backlogged.

I can't explain why this looks appealing to me since I don't know anything about South Park/ don't watch the show. Likewise, I don't really like any media that qualifies as abundantly comedic... Yet for some reason this game looks like barrels of fun.

Regardless, Marches end is all about Atelier for this guy. So chances are, I will be passing on this as a "day 1". Too many things in my psp library have been bugging me lately that I can get to before Escha and Dodgey (Sp?). But the fact remains that the clever writing of this game along with the idea of character creation and fake social networking via fake facebook really has peaked my interest.

In particular, the character creation and facebook thing... can't wait to see how those two elements work.

I would love to play this game, but I'm trying to keep purchases to a minimum for the next several months, so I can afford a 3DS or a Vita later this year.

...but if I had the dough to spare, I'd totally get it.  I love South Park, and this game looks like a hoot.

it's almost ironic for a TV show that takes almost no time to develop (well, by animation standards) has had a really long development period.

I won't lie, but the fact "Jew" is a class of its own has me in stitches.

I want this game a lot, looks like a perfect blend of "South Park" + game.
