I'm most likely going to wait on this one. GTAIV was a big step back from San Andreas that I'm going to have to see some youtube footage first before I get it.
Screw professional reviews. They gave GTAIV a 10 and suckered me and a bunch of friends in - we were all disappointed.

I didn't really like Niko as the main Character in 4, the game was great but maybe a bit gritty. BOGT bought the humour back where as LOTD was like Sons of Anarchy. Fans will take the risk with V no doubt, including me

GTA III was simply superb, Vice City blew me away. I had some what of a good time with San Andreas. GTAIV was decent to where I did get 100% in the single player campaign, then I lost my saved data. Never got to play the expansions but I have them on my shelf. GTAV, I hope brings me back to the GTA III/Vice City days.

Rezzing an old topic for new trailer.

I haven't been keeping up on it at all so I don't know how the 3 different characters come into play. The first and last character seem pretty interesting. Not sure about the 2nd yet.

You play as all of them. You can switch from either one at any point, except in some missions I think.

Man, surprisingly well done. If Rockstar has a flare for anything, they know how to present their goods.
Looking forward to gameplay though.
I love the decisions to make the "V" have a "five" banner in front of it...
EDIT:I feel like a graphics whore for saying this, but man, the trailer sort of shows the PS3 and how its aged. I hate how clothes look on PS3 models these days; they're more detailed for sure, but they don't move, so it just looks weird and completely stiff.

That would be pretty cool. I guess they could just handle it in a way that when certain important parts come up, you have might have to catch up with certain character's missions if you were lagging behind. Good to know either way.

Completely agree. I've always liked the series since it came on the PS2, but the trailer took me from little to no interest, to full attention.

The graphics aren't the best, but the lighting seems fantastic. I understand why many didn't like GTA IV's story, but I enjoyed it. The story for this one looks pretty good.

Was that running on a PS3?

huh?
I'll clarify?
Like this fella here, he's got the folds and crinkles in his shirt, but no matter how he moves, those folds stay the same. This especially looks weird on suited-up characters because their clothes just look stiff and bulky.
Are you trying to imply GTA isn't PS3?

I think there's a misunderstanding here.
When you said that the PS3 was showing its age my mind thought on graphics and all that kind of stuff, not the movement of the clothes. That's why I asked if the trailers were showing the PS3 version of the game or not (thinking that you knew that).
