I think it is time to petition Lucas Arts to go ahead and create the next Knights of the Old Republic game. I know the MMO is out, but I think the story of Reven and the Exile needs to be continued.

Hell, I'm only level 13 in SWTOR and I'm already learning about Revan's fate and what happened. BioWare seems to be doing a good job at keeping their lore alive.

Kidding, I actually know someone who liked the Prequels but didn't like KOTOR. I did enjoy KOTOR and its sequel and thought the writing was superior to that in all the Star Wars films. The writing in the originals is pretty shitty.

I really fucking want to play KOTOR but I heard the Xbox version has a few... problems on the 360. :(

Lizzy, KOTOR is on Steam actually for pretty cheap.
I just wish KOTOR 2 were available digitally. It wasnt THAT bad. I kinda liked it.
Edit: in fact, KOTOR is 2.49 RIGHT NOW (909pm PST 12/27)

:( Ugh. The damned thing is unplayable on the 360. I tried back in the summer.

You guys could just get the PC version couldnt you? Its probably dirt cheap and im sure even if you have a shitty computer it would still play it on max settings. It is a little hard to get working but there are tons of threads dedicated to solving those problems. I played through it again recently on my computer.

The Steam version works great - runs easily even on Win7. Though it doesn't support widescreen resolutions.

I highly recommend this game to anyone after a great plot! I played it back in my original Xbox but since I sold it I decided to get the Steam version. Just a few days ago it was $2.50 but it is still pretty cheap.
Sad thing is that with The Old Republic MMO our chances of seeing a single player Kotor seem to get lower and lower.

I went in not knowing much about it, and ended up playing through the entire game over a four day period last year. Love it. One of my favourite games of the last gen.

If anyone's thinking of playing KOTOR 2, don't just rely on quicksaves and autosaves, make use of multiple save slots. There's at least a couple of game-breaking bugs that were never fixed (I think one may even have been introduced by a patch), and they're fairly easy to run into.
