Looks good already, Dincrest. I'd bet you could grow one fantastic beard should you let it go.

On the subject, I've been considering going to a barber shop to get my face mane trimmed. Usually my wife does it, and she does a great job, but I'd like to see how a professional handles it... Knowing me though, I'll probably never get around to it.

I've had a lot of friends tell me I'd grow a great beard.  I've never grown a full beard before, just goatees.  I plan to keep it till my holiday break in December and get a barbershop shave and a haircut between X-mas and New Year's.

I grow a beard every now and again, actually... come to think of it, I shave every now and again. Strictly speaking, it's not entirely a esthetic choice. More of a "I'm too lazy to shave" thing. I think it suits me though, my girlfriend tolerates it, only my grandparents can't stand it. Then again, according to them I should probably have a bowl cut or something of the sort, but I should at least try to shave whenever I go to see them. Funny thing is, they want me to have long hair and no beard, I prefer short hair with a beard because I'm lazy and my hair is impossible to manage without a ton of cosmetics.

I just got back from getting a barbershop shave (and a haircut) today.  I feel like a whole new person. 

So here are the before and after pictures, both taken today.

Before= 2 months without a shave or a haircut. 

EDIT: I'll tag @natros and @glassjawsh since they were initial followers of my bearded odyssey.
