Saw this at a store in Salt Lake last week - it's a "master replica" Boba Fett blaster.  $400, life sized, weighs a ton.

It's pretty obvious within our E3 gallery that I took a lot of pictures with booth girls (including a bunch that didn't make it into the gallery, because I'm a shameless flirt.)  What isn't so obvious is that on day 3, I actually asked a bunch of booth girls about the worst pickup lines they'd heard.  Asking a booth girl about the worst pickup lines they'd heard was something I had dared myself to do at E3 and I ended up asking several.

Most of the booth girls were pretty diplomatic saying stuff like, "Oh, I haven't heard anything bad.  Everyone at this show has been pretty chill" but the brunette at the PDP booth was more than happy to share a few.  She said someone asked her "Can I pick you up?" then literally picked her up.  Then she told me about how she gave someone a memory stick with press assets on it and the guy asked if her number was on it.  They were good sports, so I asked if they'd like to hear the cheesiest line I'd ever used and told my "tag, you're it!" story.  They actually liked it!  The taller blonde was the most amused by it.

EDIT: I think I've earned the Meis avatar I use.

Thanks!  As the chick in my band, I have to take extra effort to look hot (especially since I'm kinda doofy looking) :P

And, yeah, the Power Rangers photo was a fun one,  just because I didn't expect to see them walking around.

Oh, for those who don't know the story, my band's EP was reviewed in the May issue of MRR (Maximum Rock and Roll) and the reviewer said that she liked the occasional female vocals in some our songs... those vocals being my high-pitched caterwauling.  So since then, I've become "the chick in the band" and I wholeheartedly embrace it.  If I can be even a fraction as cool as the chick in White Zombie, then yay!

We're a punk band heavily influenced by d-beat, crossover thrash, crust, and various non-punk styles.  One band we've been compared to a lot is Broken Bones.
