Anyway, I'll get to the point I was going to make here. I heard that websites like Ctrl-Alt-Del have several hundred thousand members (that could be an exaggeration) , consisting of most of the internet nerdy percentage of the gaming population around the world (its true, you'd have to be the kind of person who spends a hell of a lot of time on the internet to be on forums with that kind of popularity). If you can't imagine 350-odd members, try a few thousand...

I like the relatively close-knit community of this website, as it means you start to know the regulars if you post as often as I do. On Ctrl-Alt-Del, it would be impossible to know anybody on the whole forum, unless you posted about say 500 posts a day. (that's both sarcasm and exaggeration  lol)

I could never stand the ctrl alt del website and tim buckley is a self-absorbed arrogant prick.  John plays WoW on Dark Iron so I'm sure he remembers all the rapscallion shit that went on.  Tim came on, threw a hissy fit and g(guild)kicked everyone for practically no reason.  Members went to the board and said he's a cock and he's so into himself that he thinks he's God.  Also supposedly he sent pictures of his penis to two 16 and 17 year old girls.  

He posted on the thread later but he never denied those claims.  I've stopped reading ctrl alt del since.  Just kind of ruined it for me.

No board is worse than Gaia Online. It's the internet's largest concentration of stupid. You can practically feel your IQ dropping as you browse their boards. GameFAQs? Penny Arcade? CTRL ALT DEL? Pah, they don't hold a candle to the horror that awaits you on Gaia Online.

A friend of mine pressured me to go there once while I was in my misogyny phase and I pissed off like 200 people with a few off hand remarks in one of their threads.

Hell, I wouldn't have stuck around for so long for no good reason.  Sure, I don't post a whole lot anymore, but I check the boards pretty much everyday. A fine little community it is.

I have visited those boards on occasion.  All the visual clutter on the site makes it hard to read.  It is almost as bad in that aspect as Christian Forums.  They have these little virtual dolls and all other kinds of weird shit.
