My experience with loose leaf teas is that it's a pain in the ass. It's been awhile, but we bought the strainer thingy, and some different types of herb and regular teas. The taste really wasn't all that much better or different. It just wasn't worth the effort.
I like the roobois teas we've tried. Not sure if I've ever tried oolongs. Wife would probably know, but she's off stitching.

Made a meatloaf tonight that would have been killer if I hadn't overcooked it. Dry meat sucks.

Your wife does that stuff to? +1 does that.

I prefer loose leafs. Just tired of getting bent over the counter and effed in the A at places like teavana.

You've had oolong. Typically it's the kind of tea served at chinese joints w/ dinner

My first post in the leaky cauldron!

How thrilled I am!  I recently picked up the New Galt Cook Book (1898)... A priceless piece of Canadian literature of cookery!

I look forward to trying this one tonight!

Especially wonderful is the chapter on how to prepare fresh 'game'.  Why, the hunt has been wonderful this season!

Werd.  Late night snack.  Fills you up... somewhat healthy (better than icecream?).

I alternate between ketchup and Frank's as a condiment for eggs.
I used to love cooking eggs in the morning but I eat them all the time after I work out so that has kind of corrupted them as a breakfast item for me.

Yoda and Leaky Cauldron smell.

Kind alike what Mesh said earlier (and in another topic), I can only do eggs with things.  I love "conditional" food though haha.

The idea of eggs and ketchup almost makes me retch. Yuck. I like eggs with cheese or ham, or whatever. But the idea of saucing them up is just gross.
That thing Dice posted looks pretty good. I would just top it with some sharp cheddar. That "bread" looks like half and english muffin to me. That would work, too.

good in scambled eggs is some french mustard, known as dijon

Or some good hot sauce. Ketchup on eggs also makes me question life

I haven't eaten eggs with ketchup since the last time I did so, as a kid - I was watching 'Tremors' at the time.

Eggs just aren't the same without ketchup. Scrambled eggs with LOTS of ketchup. YUM.

Fried eggs need brown sauce (don't know if that's an international thing).

So I got a pretty high powered blender this week and made my first smoothie this morning. Apple Banana Oatmeal Smoothie!

It contains

1/2 Apple
1/4 cup Vanilla or Plain Yogurt
1/2 banana peeled
2 tablespoons quick oats
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

SO GOOD OMG.

Anyone got good drink/smoothie recipes? I don't mind health food minded stuff. I'm trying to eat healthier and get more fruits/veggies in my diet.

Any Amerikaaners have a good site to order tea from?

Had to edit this quote because I'm a total tea-junkie. I think a lot of what you'll find online depends on what kind of tea you like and what you're willing to pay. Here are some tea sites that are awesome.

http://www.goldenmoontea.com/ <-- Try their Coconut Puchong if you like Green, Vanilla Mint if you like black, and Sugar Caramel Oolong if you like Oolong.

http://www.adagio.com/ <--- Good prices. Lots of selection. They have customer created blends that I haven't tried, but are raved about.

http://www.teavana.com/ <--- Can be really pricey, but the quality is awesome. They have the BEST White Tea Chai, and My Morning Mate is really, really good.

http://www.lupiciausa.com/ <--- Straight from Japan. Also kinda pricey but they have some crazy awesome flavors. Their Sakurambo sounds weird (Japanese sour cherries and black tea) but it's fruity, tangy and just plain neat. I should order some more sometime.
