Only if I end up feeling like a game is 8.5/10 MINIMUM.  If its just 8.4 or lower, I don't get into it so much as to get everything, even though 8/10 is still a great score.

The only game I ever 100%ed was Xenosaga Episode III. I guess because it was really easy to totally complete. Otherwise, I just tend to get bored.

Not since the 90s with games like Suikoden II or FFVIII.These days I only make enough time to finish an RPG when I can.Going for every sidequest or hidden item is beyond me.The last two games that I had with 95%-99% were Final Fantasy XII and Persona 4.

Very rarely. I have to love the game enough and have the spare time. Both are rare and even when I do have spare time, I've got a hell of a backlog here...

Fuck no.  There are very few RPGs I'd care to play long enough to do that.

Hell, I haven't even done everything there is to do in Skyrim, and I've played that fucker for 150 hours. :P

I finish the story and any interesting sidequests.  Leveling up to 99 or creating ultimate weapons was great when I was fifteen, but I don't have the time to do that anymore.

With how so many titles require multiple play-throughs to achieve 100% completion I don't see how anyone could afford the time to every title they play.... In the days of SNES and PS1 there were a few titles I massacred every inch of but nowadays, even being a neurotic OCD completion-ist freak such as I am, I relinquish myself to just being happy completing titles....

Gotta admit right now though its feeling hard to move on in Xenoblade knowing I could still invest hours into sidequests.....

Also having a hard time not getting back on my Disgaea kick in the interest of affording time to other stuff on my shelf that needs attention..... But as we all know, when you play Disgaea... ITS FOR LIFE!!

Three terms:

  • I like doing as much as I can before the end.
  • It's usually a deal-breaker once those credits roll, so I like a post-game dungeon.
  • Also, the more I like the game, the more I'm inclined to do shit that doesn't matter.

Only if it doesn't require a guide to do some inane task early on in the game which locks you out of later events etc.

Missables are a lame aspect of RPGs.

Visual novels, I usually tend to 100% but even then there are some that I haven't either because I don't want to or don't have the time to.  

RPGs- very rarely.  I lack the time and, to an extent, the patience.
