I wasn't impressed by the game at all, but it's still nice to see it coming to America. :) It doesn't bode well for JRPGs in English in general if a pretty, high budget game by the creator of Final Fantasy with some very Western-influenced design sensibilities can't make it overseas. And while I didn't enjoy the game, there's a lot about it gameplay-wise that's a little bit different to most JRPGs, and I could see some people really, really liking it.
I must say I didn't expect it from XSEED, though, since they tend to deal with more cult-y developers. Good to see them aiming onward and upward! Maybe they'll be the company who finally manages to coerce NamDai into outsourcing localisations for the Tales series? ;D
