It does look good, however, it strikes me as more of a Dead Space, gripping at times but it seldom made me jump or gave me "goosebumps"...Fatal Frame...hell yeah...that shit messed with me!

Silent Hill did scary better. Resident Evil was more about the adrenaline and anxiety of having to fight off hordes rather than the slower, deep seated horror in games like Silent Hill.

And yet many fans that have been enjoying the series since it started in the late '90s say that the games were never about the action.

Like I said, I'm not a big fan of RE and I honestly don't know much about it even if I have tried really hard to understand them in the past, but in my opinion the only game that got everything right was REmake on GameCube. Every other RE before and after that was either a charming but very flawed game or a great action game and that doesn't mean either style of games can't have their genuinely scary moments at times. Though like Yoda said "scary" is something totally subjective.

I can promise any and all PS3 users that if I'm not playing with someone and you need a buddy for coop, I will be down. I fucking loved RE5 coop. So awesome.

Haha it'd be great to have a team of The 'Fanners here. :D
Can't wait for Borderlands 2 at that.

Yeah, I miss Res5 co-op, and it's annoying so few games, FPS' aside, implement it.

I didn't play 5 so I'm just going to ask a quick question. Does 5 have online co-op?

Slightly off topic, but I am currently playing Dead Rising 2: Off The Record which has a good co-op mode in it.  If running around with a friend in crazy outfits with crazy custom-made weapons wading through zombies is your thing, you should check it out.

Not a lot of people even realise Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record even have co-op... sadly.

While I am excited for what the trailer promises, I'm a tad sad that they chose Chris and Leon again as leads. I am more fond of the RE ladies myself, like Rebecca, Jill and Claire. Sheva was pretty cool too, partner.

That said: OMG ZOMBIES AGAIN!

For some reason I want to play RE1 now. I got pretty far into it several times but never beat it.

Its fun but its actually pretty short. I bought the GC remake of it and STILL have not played it once, I should really get on that...
