The demo is up on Nintendo's marketplace right now. Beware, though, you can only play demos a total of thirty times before they lock you out (WTF?).

Anyway, disregarding e stupid demo limit, the game seems solid. I want to pick it up but $50 for a handheld game is highway robbery. Urgh....

I got a pre-order at $40, but I'm kind of waffling anyway. I'll want to pick up the Circle Pad Pro since I can actually move while aiming, making it a lot more sensible than the dual stick arrangement was for RE5.

Played the demo and loved it. I was already looking forward to Revelations anyway, the demo only solidified my decision. The demo limit doesn't really bother me. Why would I play a demo more than 30 times? I rarely play a demo more than once.

Is still kinda weird that a feature like that exist in the first place given the fact that some people saves demos to play them casually or for collection.

In any case, is not really an issue. But then again people do like to bitch about stuff so... yeah dunno.

I don't have a 3DS - but is this the one that's survival horror and less action?

Yeah, it's supposed to be a return to the series roots, while also maintaining features from RE4 and 5. So it's a hybrid. The reviews have been very favorable so far except for a couple oddball reviews giving it a 6/10.

I pre-ordered this at Zavvi in its MEGA MONDAY deal for £40 with the Circle Pad, which I thought was a steal.

I didn't plan on getting the Circle Pad, but the lower price won me over.  Now I just need to pluck up the courage to take that thing into the public...  Saying that, I think this is a handheld game that would be best played indoors.  Survival horror on a train with commuters will detract from the experience...

I was already pretty interested in this, but the demo totally sold me. Classic RE-style pacing with the controls and perspective of RE4? That's basically what it is, and it's awesome. Also, though I don't know how well it would stand up over time, I was cackling like an idiot with the gyro aiming. Great game, definitely going to pick it up. When does it come out, again?

You know seeing the "Revelations" thing makes me wonder what are going to these revelations about. Did RE5 left some mysteries unsolved?
