Armored Core V

It comes out in March and there's no topic for it yet?
Anyways, I just played the Japanese demo for it and loved it. I'll post impressions once I've finished my second run through of the demo mission.
Until then, here's the Wikipedia Page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armored_Core_V
The Japanese website, which features some trailers:

And here's a video featuring Overed Weapons and Huge Mechanic Battle:

I've been very interested in ACV since it was announced, it looks different from what I usually play and it helps that I'm not interested in too many games this year (just 4 counting this one) to put a ton of time into it.

Just got a copy of the... standalone AC2 expansion. Really interested in giving it a go sometime.

I've been considering getting For Answer, since it's cheap, and From are certainly great devs.
How open to a newcomer is it?

I loved For Answer, but I was way late to the party. People had to organize their own multiplayer dates on gamefaqs, and then there were like 15 people online, that night.
I will get in on this from the beginning so that the community doesn't die before I quit. Online play is a great motivator for games that are this technical.
If you liked Demon's Souls, Armored Core games are very similar on a gameplay level.

Played Eternal Ring for a bit tonight then AC2: AA. Agreeing with the above sentiments -- this is King's Field/Dark ___ with robots.
(Granted that actually is an apt description for Epidemic as well, except I was the only person that ever played that).

Did anyone else get this? I'm trying to decide on a team (guild) to join (you can join and leave them as you please).

Somehow, our team Darkside Raiders has over a dozen people from Wisconsin, but only a handful of us are active... and by active, it means we finally figured out how to play as of yesterday, and are playing now...
So, PS3 players, Darkside Raiders will co op if you join, so join.... Wisconsin.

Apparently we're good pilots, AC or otherwise.

I saw a dirt cheap copy of AC IV a while ago (at least I think it was IV), been on the fence about picking it up for a while now. All this talk about the series may just convince me to go out and buy it tomorrow (assuming its still there).
