For certain games, like rpgs, yeah I keep them. For puzzle games like Professor Layton, I have considered keeping them, but eventually gave in and traded them away.

If they still hold good value and I feel like I won't replay them for one reason or another, then I will. Other M and Final Fantasy XIII were particularly good for this.

I sold the ones I know I will never play again or didn't enjoyed. Is a bit hard sometimes to sell RPGs since you always develop some kind of connection with those.

Chances are if I finished them, it's probably because I liked it a lot, so I usually keep them. Only exceptions were Meteos, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and Kirby 64.

Me too. I also keep them around to lend to other people (mostly my sister, brother and best friend). I borrow entertainment from them too.
I did sell my Super Nintendo and some other retro stuff eventually. I felt kinda bad about having nice stuff like that and rarely playing with it. Nostalgia is nice but it shouldn't clutter up several shelves! I was smart enough to sell everything before batteries started dying and the prices of certain games dropped because of rereleases. With the money I was able to buy all the books I needed for my first year of college.

I keep em now. Too many times I have regretted trade ins and the like for paltry returns.
I doubt 15 years from now I'll want to play DA2 again like I wish I could play some SNES games, but you never know.

My apartment is starting to run low on space, so I've taken to getting rid of certain games I know I'll never play again and keeping my favorites.

Depends on the price people ask.
But it's definitely case by case, some games you know what you want to play again.
I do love having a Wii to replay classics as well (only wish more were there).

If I can get some functionality at a later date (Pokemon), I'll keep them. Beyond that, everything has a price.

I've traded in two games in my life. Resident Evil DS and Lunar Dragon Song, both because I was offended that I owned them. I do tend to get around this argument by never finishing a game though.

I sell em. I'm not concerned with product value or attachment. While I do enjoy playing video games, they hold little value outside of their entertainment medium other than the story and music within. If I really liked a soundtrack or story, I'll keep the game, but that's a blue moon occurrence. There's 3 games I own I wouldn't sell because of simply enjoying the soundtrack and don't want to throw down $60 for the ost.
But you could probably guess that I sold my video games by lurking in

Some games I will never part with, like Anachronox or Chrono Trigger. Others, no problem. Whether I trade them at a game shop, sell them on ebay or RPGFan's bazaar, or swap them with other staff members, I'd rather a game be played than sit on my shelf collecting dust.
