WTF is wrong with my computer

So I was looking at adorable kittens on my laptop today when all of a sudden it decided to restart itself. Upon restarting it goes to a startup repair and it then indicates that it cannot repair this computer automatically. The error information is the following

I have searched the internet to try and find a solution. I have done a System Restore from a previous point, Restored my computer to factor settings, can't access safemode, tried a boot disk and had no problems, not finding any problems with my hard drive sectors. I don't have an actual restore disc.

I am running Windows 7. Any thoughts or ideas?

Sounds like you caught a virus, old chum.  You should've just looked at porn like a normal person.

Try this, maybe?  Certainly wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, but the inability to get to safe mode leads me to believe that you're gonna have to clear cut that fucker and start from scratch.

The problem with starting over is the lack of restore discs. it means I may have to purchase a new copy of windows. I would just download it but the auth key on the bottom of the laptop is all smudged. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

Is it a dell? Just wondering since i've had a few work laptops do the same kind of thing. The recovery was via the disc that came with it, not win 7 but dell recovery disc.

It is a dell. I got the discs from Dell and had to reload windows from scratch using the dell recovery discs

This is why I pony up for a full copy of windows. A gateway did something similar to yours and because all I had were recovery disks, I couldn't just repair the bad sector. Oh no, I had to restore everything.

And gateways have done it to me TWICE. Sigh.
