Joystiq news article.

The screen shot on the scan looks exciting. It'll be for the Xbox 360. I wonder how many people will give it a chance, both the Japanese and US markets.

Gotta love when the japanese mangle english for game titles. This is one of the worst cases I've seen, it's not even neat or memorable like a lot can be. Makes me wonder if it'll get a name change. :P

Anyways, assuming it comes out here, I'll definitely give it a shot. As much as I gripe about them,t hey tend to make pretty awesome games. Plus it seems like they remember to deal with things bigger teams can't be bothered with, amusingly, like Widescreen and progressive scan. Not that that matters on the X360.

I love Tri-Ace and own an Xbox 360 (if it still continues to work), so I'll be all over this game. :D

I read that title aloud, and my English degrees flew off the wall and slapped me in the face.  Swear to God.

As if buying an Xbox 360 is completely out of the question.

To be fair, it kinda sucks to buy a system just for /one/ game. But really, I think giving interested people who own an X360 this far outweighs having all their games convinently on the PS3 or whatever.

I personally wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being ported just like Enchanted Arms, heh.  Nice screenshot though.

Ryos: Unlikely. You see, Enchanted Arms was developed and published by From Soft. Seeing that they apparently had not signed any exclusive agreement with Microsoft, they are free to do whatever they want with Enchanted Arms.

With this game, the situation is different. tri-Ace only acts as developer of the game, while Microsoft is handling publishing and distribution duties. Hence I assume, Microsoft is owning the rights to the game, meaning it will stay 360-exclusive.

I still doubt it will help Microsoft a lot in Japan, seeing that people will be busy enough buying a Wii and/or PlayStation 3 and software for those systems during the christmas season. Not to mention that there is still the DS and a PlayStation Portable which is finally receiving some more high-profile software support.

Infinite Undiscovery.

Ignoring that it's engrish I wonder what they're trying to say making a title like that. Is the theme of the game to go around not finding anything?

Infinite Undiscovery.  Trying to make sense of that title was the equivalent of my brain hitting a brick wall at terminal velocity...then it keeps trying to run through the wall.  Why do some japanese companies feel the need to give nonsensical foreign names to their games?  Wait...nevermind, it tends to stand out.  o_O

Names aside it's a tri-Ace developed title, so I'm sure the gameplay will at least be fun.  Still, I've no interest in the XBox 360 so I'll pass, thanks.

i can echo what just about everyone else said
tri ace = yes
xbox360 = no

the funny thing is if the psu 360 servers werent segregated i might be singing a different tune.

Just about everyone else = two people who expressed disappointment?
