I was walking to the gym and started thinking of things I would actually cosplay as if I could. What came to mind was the stillsuit from Dune. Then for some crazy reason I started thinking of a Tiny Toons episode where ... (can't remember exactly) but they were in a video store and there's a Dune VHS in the back on a shelf. As a kid I thought it looked awesome and made my parents rent me the movie. Of Course I had no idea what was going on because the movie is weird as fuck. I read the book shortly after and loved it.

I started eating indian food pretty much on a whim. Saw some boxed korma at Meijers. Tried it. Loved it.

I love art, I love dragons, I love fantasy and I love games.
So my now-husband thought I should love Magic the Gathering too.
I do. And I regularly kick butt in our playgroups and at the last pre-release got the best record to get to top prize. :)

Hell, on a side note, I'm still amazed he contacted someone called Dragon Lady on Lavalife. I didn't realize it meant something else.... :-\
