Finally managed to stop him with a well-timed Geo Impact. :)

This final battle is really making me wish I had chosen different subclasses for some of my guys though.

EDIT: Of course, as soon as I post that I realize that resting the characters clears the subclass too. Time to fix some things.

Despite my reservations about the 3DS, I ended up buying one for EO4. Game is gorgeous and I already prefer if over EO3. I'm going blind this time, hope I won't royally fuck up my party.

How I missed being wrecked by an FOE.

It's pretty straightforward through the Echoing Library. There's no secret entrance or anything to find the stairs.

The Echoing Library is where you are supposed to be. I think you might be in the South Sanctuary.

Oops thanks. I thought for some reason the flame was in the South Sanctuary. Now figured out I was supposed to move on. Thought those ships were still there. Derp.

Just beat the main game. This has been one of my favorite games in recent memory and the final boss battle was fantastic. Definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Now for the post-game!

I'm still working on this too, but my progress was halted for a while by Atelier Ayesha. Now that I'm back on it, I made it to Labyrinth 3, and the enemies aren't giving me as much trouble as I expected them to. I replaced my Medic with an Arcanist, which still feels really weird, but I'm starting to get the hang of my new party dynamic. I miss Revive, but that's about it.

I'm excited to keep going! I have a feeling this game is going to be my standby for quite a while to come.

Just tried taking on the fire dragon... It effed me up. XD

But if I use the guest fighter's move's in an effective order, I think I can royally destroy that thing. I ended up doing over 4000 damage in one turn, which was awesome.

So am I able to just build my characters without looking at a guide and do ok?  Im not much of a min/maxer or anything like that, so since I am about to finally crack my copy open, im worried ill be stuck in a perpetual trying to rebuild (via rest) to make it sort of thing.  Just curious.
