No, bacon is Xseed's specialty. This is Aksys.
So it's ham instead, not bacon.
More like
ham sausage
instead (I refer you to the first image on the spine of box for the thrust of my reference).

But-...

That's a good incentive to play through the game numerous times instead of watching the true ending on youtube.
Talking about endings, I was thinking of going back to 999 to try to see the true endings, but according to a guide I'd have to beat the game 2 more times. One for the called "safe" ending and a second for the true ending.
Thing is that when there's acting, voices, a good visual fluff I feel more inclined to playing again just to see a minor difference in the end but as is the case for most visual novels I don't know why but I can't beat the game and star over just at the same time, I feel like I gotta give is some time so it feels fresh again.

Hopeful for a Vita release, because an European release is unlikely and the Vita is not region locked. Sort of.

Sort of? Isn't it 100% region free?

For physical carts, yes. It's limited to a single PSN account, though, which means you can't buy digital goods from another region.

As I understand it, the trick is to set up different accounts on different memory cards.
Unfortunately it means you have to have at least two memory cards.

You can setup different accounts on different memory cards, but unfortunately the process for switching between them is not as simple as swapping cards. There is some info stored on the Vita itself and you have to restore to factory defaults and then manually re-enter all your account info and stuff everytime you switch. If it's something you're only going to do once in a while maybe it's not so bad, but if you expect to be switching back and forth a lot then it's involved enough to be a real pain...
Also, you wouldn't get trophies in your main account when playing stuff from a different region anyway...
Really, it's best to just stick with physical cards for importing. What worries me is when games start having DLC and stuff.

Officially confirmed for the US!
Both 3DS and Vita versions. Dual language support. Coming this fall. What more could you ask for?

I wonder why they changed the name. :o
Anyways, guess there's going to be a review here in the future right? Will be waiting for it before throwing my coins out of my pockets.

I'm sad they're ditching the "Good People Die" part... that was probably the coolest name a Japanese game has called itself -- and it made sense in English.

I like the new name.
Pretty much 80% of the staff played/liked 999. (Note: I am making up this number, but a good deal of us played it/loved it, and I'm sure would have NO PROBLEMS reviewing Zero Escape.)
Me, I need either a 3DS or Vita. Got most of the year to decide...
