Personally I'm willing to drop money that this was a troll against Chrono fans. There's no way someone in the marketing chain couldn't have known the assumption would be made with that specific name branding. XD

The fact that they'd do this a few days AFTER talking about Chrono Bind as an FFXIII2 DLC thing confuses me though, and makes me not so sold on the 'trolling' explanation. I also don't know why they need a domain name for that.. but whatever.

The domain name is what's making people freak out, if they just announced the DLC Chrono Bind then it'd just be teasing. Honestly, while I doubt they'd actually want to TROLL I do think they deliberately wanted to evoke the Chrono series there, it's just that it got misinterpreted as "NEW CHRONO GAME" along the way.
