I'm quite looking forward to the notion of dropping a few tomahawks on a few Redcoat skulls. It'll be just like the movie The Patriot! Except with time travel. And without Mel Gibson. And maybe not horrible.

The tomahawk and the vicious melee attack on the British soldier have a distinctly Mel Gibson’s “The Patriot” feel to them, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the bulk of the game took place in the hit-and-run guerilla tactics that colonial militias were beginning to develop during that time.

Can you say The Patriot?!?!?

Or even the Mel Gibson vehicle The Patriot, in which Gibson and Heath Ledger form a rebel militia group to drive the British our of America in 1776.

I wasn't too sure about the setting at first, what with the relative lack of tall buildings to climb, but I like the look of this, sneaking through forests could make for an interesting change.
