So, this is coming here.  Which totally BLOWS MY MIND.  I was actually considering dropping the $65 to import it, but I'm not going to do it now.  I love strategy games, I love Nobunaga, and I can deal with Pokeymans.  Just seems like such an absolutely bizarre crossover.

It's basically FFT like but with Japanese Historical Figures and Pokemon instead of a bunch of medieval standins practicing bad Engrish/Shakesphere (depending on the version).

This actually sounds cool and Koei's behind it which is a good sign because generally with strategy games they know their thang.

I couldn't stomach playing a game with pokemon in it. And I've read it's a pretty easy game, so there's not much in it for me.

Yeah, Andrew is right. Black and White really upped the fun level of Pokemon.

Pokémon games are in the worst scenario very tedious, but hard? It depends in your experience with RPGs I guess.

I've never been able to get into Pokemon. Going to that from Megaten is like going from driving stick to a tricycle.

Contrary here! :P I'm a fan of Koei's games, but I'm really not sure about this one :P I mean, I like those games for their epic feel: great battles, historical settings, awesome character design (most of the time anyway)... But with Pokemon in it? For me it's a contradiction :P

Anyway, I might be taking it just for the sake of having a new DS game, while I wait for Kingdom Hearts/Paper Mario to come out on the 3DS... As far as I know there hasn't been anything interesting since Devil Survivor 2...

Ouch, it's incredible how Pokemon gets the cold shoulder in this site.

I'm kinda happy.  The game gets way too much praise and for very little.  The graphics seriously could at long last be updated if that wasn't so hard to ask.  But, more than anything, I hate when 20+ year olds are playing a game my little cousin can beat.  *groan*.

I think the memes for it are hilarious though.
