So; take your 80's slasher victim cast but shove a Cube/Matrix hybrid in as a subplot with the 'peering into the ant farm' aesthetic...

...I'm game. This might be the one horror movie in a long time I actually 'want' to see.

Me, too. I've been hearing really good things about it. It's been WAY too long since we've had a horror movie worth seeing in the theater. Now to find the time to go see it.

The last horror movie I saw in the theaters was The Descent. And by 'saw' I mean sat in front of a black movie screen for about and hour and a half listening to girly screaming (none of which came from the audience).

I've since made a rule to never watch horror movies in formats where I can't adjust the gamma.

Ditto. It had some flaws but the 3rd act makes it one of the best movies this year. Well; so far anyway. Avengers and DKR will likely trample it but still.

Fun fact:

The blonde girl in the movie is most famous as the yellow ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury.

Here's a fun fact of my own I didn't know until way after the movie:

Code:
That woman who appears just minutes before the end for the exposition dump, the Director, recognize her?

That's Sigourney Weaver. Seriously.

She played a pretty big role in a major blockbuster that's only a couple years old. Hell, she's the most known actor in this movie, and definitely up there in the other movie I didn't state directly.
