Me too - it feels like a game with a lot of promise.  I'd kind of prefer third person too, but I had that option with Skyrim and Fallout, and I played in first person the whole time, so...

I just started this and after 30 minutes of playing this...I got a big smile on my face.... first thing that came to my mind Its Thief!!!!(hell the entire game is one giant Thief tribute), possibly the best game ever(well I lie, Thief 2 is the best game ever).  Well not entirely true, while yes it true Bioshock feels like System Shock lite, Deus Ex 3 feels like Deus Ex 1 lite, Dishonored feels like Thief lite.  Not saying Bioshock and Deus Ex 3 where bad, they just feel a tiny bit watered down(not dumbed down mind you).  It lacks hiding in shadows, controlling light, and Garret's snarky remarks.  Besides that I'm a happy camper.
