Holy shit indeed.

In truth, I am not big on Kingdom Hearts, but I know a lot of people who will go "OMFG!!!!!!". If it does come here, I might check it out anyhow like all the others, but this is defanitely sweet news for everyone else I know.

I hope it comes out here since I haven't gotten the sequel yet.  This would give me some more incentive in doing so.

Shit, thats an amazing bonus though.
So what if the game was shitty?  People will still gobble it up.  Besides, you can't deny that the secret ending in KH2 made you wish that a Kingdom Hearts 3 would be released as soon as tomorrow.  So It'll be nice to see a bit more to it, is what Im trying to say.

Actually, I can deny it. Story wise, KH2 had a lot of potential and dropped the ball. It ended the story, so I'd rather not see it go on, since it's a 'okay they're back home and all is well' ending. It'd be like FFX all over again.

CoM was a crappy game. If they keep the card system I'm gonna have to pass. :P

Personally, I hope it doesn't get released here, so I don't have to buy it :P
Because if it does come to the U.S., I probably won't be able to resist making the purchase.

The whole concept of re-creating CoM is pretty sweet, though. I'd rather they release that by itself (as in, without KH2 bundled with it) as a budget title, but we all know that'll never happen..

Ironically, I find it more likely to happen here than in Japan. SE's /never/ released their updates over here, not of that sort at least, so they're likely to treat this like Konami treated Integral, releasing only the stand alone new content.

I wonder if this will get released here in Europe? I may be wrong, but do we not normally get what in Japan is sold as the 'International' version, with some added content? I mean, the game hasn't been released here at all yet, so it's possible.

Yep, Deg. The European version of Final Fantasy X, for an example, included stuff that were part of the Japanese "International" release. Such as the Dark Aeons, and an upgraded/improved Sphere Grid.

For kingdom hearts II(not chains) I think it's kinda bad practice when companies do things like this with recent releases. It's another thing if a game is a few years old. And even another if a game is COMPLETELY reworked for a new system(CoM remake itself isn't a problem), but they should be redoing their latest big game...TWICE. It's profitable obviously, but if they had more content to add they should have put it in the original in the first place.

For com thoughts specifically...

Well, it's easier to swallow with substantial updates, like each of the MGS releases (ESPICIALLY MGS3). However, if we got, say, DMC3:SE as a full priced re-release, that'd suck. And this seems to be roughly the same level in  regards to just how much was changed. Heck, MGS3 was the most substantially upgraded of the three MGS titles, and it was still released for a budget price.
