Spencer's good on his word.  He's leaked and announced SE titles (and DLC) accurately before. More than SE, just in general.  I think his claim that it might be "surprising" is what's doubtful.  

I think many people will be disappointed; they're probably thinking it's a big title.  I see a lot of Type-0 Vita being thrown around, for example.  But that wouldn't be very surprising now, would it?  I'd curb my expectations.

I'd love to be proven wrong, of course.

A DQX beta giveaway might not be so bad.  It would definitely tick a few people off, but it's worthy of an announcement.  Maybe not a tease like this, though.

I'm expecting localization news, perhaps on a game we'd given up on (DS DOES seem to be going strong here). I half wonder if they'd even experiment with a DD release to get some of those out, trying DS games on 3DS eShop or something.

If they said FF6 remake, I'd have a heart attack that'd prevent me from actually playing it because I'd have died happy.

Probably localization.  Unless Siliconera is one of the top gaming news cornerstones on the web that'd entitle them to exclusive information from Japan first.

That's what I figure. If it's a brand new game they'd get an exclusive over the likes of Famitsu and Dengeki... and I don't see that happening. Unless it's a pretty minor game.

I just want Type-0 news already. DQX hasn't been announced for us yet, so there's a possibility I guess. Bravely Default, too.

Thief 4 is already a known, though. I'm really fucking hoping it's on demo at E3.

Anyway, when I think of their bigger Western IPs, at least stuff like DXHR and Thief 4, I think of Eidos - even though Squeenix owns them. Even so, the Western stuff doesn't get as much coverage over there as does JP stuff. They own smaller companies than that like Ankama and (I think) n-Space, but I doubt their games would warrant a tease like whatever this reveal is. Same goes for social games. :P
