Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

So you know what's dumber than having an 'exclusive' on a canned game by a dismantled developer that has no chance in hell of being made?

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/05/01/a-pac-man-multiplayer-mode-in-a-shooter-cavia-made-that-for-catacombs/

Continuing to discuss all the features and gameplay modes said game was going to have before getting unceremoniously dumped into the vaporware zone.

So you're an idiot for revealing more information on a canned game? Plenty of people find it fascinating to learn about scrapped projects, so no, it is NOT dumber than hyping up an announcement without disclosing it's a shelved game.

A perfect example of this would be Megaman Legends 3.

Except that the details were coming out during the game's development before it got megacanned. Though once it got thrown under the bus (along with everything else Megaman) pretty much the only things said about the game since were the lack of fan support and the possibility of what had existed up to that point just not being up to snuff. No postmortem or anything.

At any rate though, I'm not getting the sense that Yoko Taro was involved with this game, and without his brand of craziness this game was probably doomed to being, at the very least, just another Drakengard! 2! if not another Bulletwitch. Which means that I've been a colossal idiot for getting peeved over something that turned out to be no big deal either way.

Just keep believing! After all, it worked for Duke Nukem Forever.

I miss the days when we were still waiting for DNF.

That end up being better than the game itself.
