Texhnolyze is my least favorite ABe show, mostly because the plot flounders so much. ABe wasn't involved in the writing like he was with Haibane Renmei, just the concept art; and it was godly.

It has its charms though. Make sure you watch the hilarious outtakes.

BGC and Lain are my favorites in the genre.

Yeah, I felt that series was too long for the story it that was trying to tell. Either way it was not bad.

About Lain... I don't man, I've been having intentions of watching the whole thing but every review I read or see about the series it all comes down to make the audience questions without given them any type of answers and mind fuck them in the process with topics like reality or loneliness. It seems like a pretty annoying series.

Though, I think all watch it soon just to get rid of the curiosity I have.

You need to. It's an absolute classic, and kind of prophetic given the subject matter and when it was made.
