Author Topic: Gaming Manga Madness!  (Read 1301 times)

I'm not sure if there are a lot of people here that read Manga, but it would be cool to see what people are reading considering there are a lot of Manga series based around RPGs/video games in general.

My Manga-mad girlfriend has gotten me into collecting various volumes of Manga, mostly game related.  There is a lot out there, here are some examples of what I already own and want to own...

Suikoden III - Volumes 1-11
.hack (various different series/volumes)
Warcraft - Volumes 1-2
Kingdom Hearts - Volumes 1-4
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (released November 2006!)
Bleach - Volume 1
Transformers: Energon
Transformers: Armada
Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 2
Devil May Cry 3

I also have some of the following series, not related to games...

Excel Saga
Get Backers

Like I said, I'm not sure how relevant this Thread is to this Message Board, but it will be very cool if a lot of people do post some messages about series they are reading or collecting.  Or even start to read Manga because of this Thread!

Personally I find Suikoden III (Manga) to be very interesting because it is set years before the game takes place and explains a lot of stories and backgrounds to characters that appear in the game.  Why not give it a read, if you like the Suikoden game series.

Hope to hear from you people and what you have to say...

We read very little manga as it tends to go by too quick to be worth spending so much money on.  I mean, you can read a whole book in, like, 30 minutes.  Where as you get more out of your buck for anime...

That said, before we moved back over to England, we sold her whole collection of Sailor Moon manga for $150 Yank.  That was pretty fun.

I read Death Note and Beck. Those are the two series I collect along with Hellsing when the next volume finally comes out here.
