It would be a good thing if they could pull it off. But the story is subtle as fuck with almost no dialog.

The cryptic scene after you kill a beast are amazing. Bone chilling really.

I read somewhere a producer...or something was quite inspired by the first half or so of WALL-E.  If they did it like that, there would be some potential.  If....  If.... Iffeeeeuuugh....

I'm worried that most that it'll be Americanized into giving Wander a comic-relief, and have a healthy dose of witty American banter that no one asked for... and explosions boom-booming everywhere.

My skeptic alarm is blaring.  I love Shadow of the Colossus, but I have no idea how they could make it a successful, marketable movie without changing what SotC fundamentally *is*.  And even then I'd probably still buy a ticket....
