Konami planning Zone of the Enders Premium Event

"Zone of the Enders HD Night Fastest in the Universe ReBOOT Preview will take place at Shinjuku's Wald 9 theater on May 25 from 18:30 to 21:00. Konami previously only said that attendees for the paid event would get to see talk sessions between the staff and voice cast, a special live performance, and see the latest ZOE footage.

Konami also announced that the event will also have a playable corner and goods corners."

The news were posted after I made the thread and I made this thread because of the event on Japan. Anyway, it was pretty obvious that the entire point of rebooting the franchise with the HD Collection was to see if there was enough interest from fans for a sequel.

I remember that all of this started in 2007 with this image. Funny how this series started as "that mecha game with the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo" and now plenty of people can't wait for ZOE3.

Honestly, I don't even care if they can't pull off a good game, so long as it comes out over here. It's been ages since I've played a fast-paced Mecha game - they're all stuck in Japan. =(

Been reading the thread they made on neogaf. So far so good, but this part I didn't like all that much...

The thing is, Zone of the Enders was moving in that direction from the start. The first one was pure science fiction where Metatron is just a powersource. The second one moved towards fantasy with all that stuff that pops up about the Metatron. It's not really that strange.

Especially since traditionally Metatron refers to the angel that serves as the voice of God. I always thought it was weird that they named it that and didn't do anything with it.
