CYBERPUNK RPG TIME
Man, I'd love have more options than Deus Ex or Shadowrun. Hell, I was lucky the Kickstarter came about for Shadowrun rather than the last video game of it being a team based FPS.

That image looks very Shadowrun. I know that there is already that kickstarter project so it doesn't seem very likely but it's still the first thing I thought.
Man, I would really like a non-terrible Shadowrun game. Last one we got was on the SNES for crying out loud (and even that one played pretty fast and loose with the rules, though it was mostly true to the setting).

I think the Genesis game came later and was better received, but it's the SNES one I'll be nostalgic for.
But, man, cyberpunk can be pretty awesome of a theme to use period, so I'm pretty excited to see what CD Projekt Red does.

Here's an article about it
http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/171358/CD_Projekt_ventures_beyond_The_Witcher_with_Cyberpunk.php
It's not just a "cyberpunk" game, it's apparently based on R. Talsorian Games' pen-and-paper roleplaying game Cyberpunk.

Awesome that cyberpunk's a hot commodity again, between this, Shadowrun, and Soul Hackers(if that counts).

I actually really liked the 360/PC game. Not as a game in the Shadowrun universe, but on its own merits. I think it would've been a lot less derided if it didn't have the license.

Can't freaking wait. I hope the peeps at CDP are the ones to finally do the genre justice, especially since they'll probably call the game "Cyberpunk".
In any case, expecting to see this in some form at E3.

Correct. I confirmed with their PR after the actual announcement, and it will not be at E3. Maybe Gamescom?

Oh, I see. They can take their sweet time with this one, though.

Isn't Gamescom in August? Still seems like a bit too early.
