Indifference due to Squeenix's inability to treat any non-Edios non-DQ series with any sort of dignity or respect.

Besides didn't they already make this in the form of FFXIII-2? I sort of recall the protagonist looking like he was dressed and ready to Chrono Breakdance his way through time to save Schala from the nefarious Gaius Baltar, meanwhile everybody from FFXIII-1's stuck in an alternate dimension (save for the Lesbians for FFXIII-1 plot spoiler reasons and Hope who's joined up with some girl named Lucca to go on his own time traveling adventures) and it's up to Serah-chan to rescue them because of her close call from a panther Gogmagog which took her life in another dimension thus leading to paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, paradox, ect....

And now I want a silly JRPG where random encounter are you and your foes battling in a breakdance competition.

My thoughts: That's nice, but I don't think I could care less. Nice one, Dice!

Well, atleast some heroes are already dressed like they belong on the dance floor. (All the other ones katamari'd through a Hot Topic.)

I bet that would be a game for 3DS. After all, every big RPG sequel thing (that is not Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest) ends up in a goddamn handheld sooner or later nowadays.

Cute little bait-and-switch, Dice.

I'd play the game Aeolus described, though.

As far as time-themed Square Enix games go, I'd have been more interested to play that DS game Sigma Harmonics.

Kind of a mix of "surprised" and "not sure I believe what I saw so I'll just shake my head uncontrollably"

Ban the witch!

In all seriousness, I'll be pretty happy and interested to see how Square Enix could handle a Chrono game these time and age.

Trepidation, largely because Cross to me is pretty much Chrono in name only.
