Lots of cool news article or some fancy reading pops up, and sure you can post them here as a seperate topic; but I want to keep this more like our YouTube thread: quick, accessible, and you can comment on it if you want.
(please describe the article or make sure the URL gets the gist of it though)
If you don't know it, try the: [ url= LINK] text[/ URL] (without the spaces) method
Let's get to it...
You are too *thin* for this gym!
. I don't know.... Id' think having thin people around is a motivator, no?

Having thin people around isn't a motivator for all people. Some bigger people are really self-concious about the thinner people judging or mocking them while they are trying to get in shape and thus stop going because they can't take the pressure. If they are around people of a similar or bigger size, they can work out without their brain going on overload.
EDIT: Ps, thanks for the new threads, the board was getting stale.

Get some like morbidly obese people that are constantly having heart attacks to just lounge around the gym so you can be all THIS IS YOU IN TEN YEARS to the fat-but-not-QUITE-that-bad people. That'll motivate them.

What is it with women and hair?
I would have my daughter shave her head bald if she did that to a kid. But in this day and age, mom thinks she knows best....which is why the girl did this in the first place, cuz mom is doing such a great job, right?

An eye for an eye, that's not how you teach kids right from wrong.
Really sad when people can't differentiate between the basic concepts of 'revenge for revenge' and 'actions have equal or greater consequences'.

I would say there's some legitimacy to that though seeing as culture is 'evolving' at a far quicker pace than it did for previous generations. Used to be that it took a generation in order for enough difference in opinion and standards to create the 'Back in my day' culture gap. Now all it seems to require is the next generation of Ipad. XD

Mostly a humorous jab at the fact that a girl did this to another girl, and that mom is upset and filing a complaint. If it were dad, he would probably have been fine with that idea. I mean, how was that intimadation? Judge said cut her ponytail off and I'll cut the community service time in half. Sounds pretty awesome to me, but the mother was actually upset by this? Fucking whacko, YOUR DAUGHTER IS A FUCKED UP PSYCHO, she deserves what she got.

Where did you pull that one from? Some fathers are even more protective of their little girls. No matter how wrong the girl was, many parents would not allow their little girl to get humiliated like that infront of strangers. That doesn't make them bad.

That judge is a psycho. In a different case two brothers were charged with luring another guy in to their car at a McDonald's to shoot him and he said he'd reduce one of their sentences if one of them shot the other.

Also, 100% of his cases involve McDonald's based crimes.

That was a weird punishment... I don't know how I feel about it though (something about it sounds really
medieval
too; today you usually just pay some crappy find and move on).
I agree the 11 year old was wrong -- but she's fucken 11, kids do crazy stupid shit when they're
kids
. And it was against a 3 year old; how much do they really know or care about what's going on with their hair really??
