In today's news, Cyprus is planning to levy a 'one time' tax on the deposits of citizens and non-citizens.  Anyone with under 100k euros in their bank account will have 6.75% removed, more and 9.9% is removed.  Needless to say, this is totally not causing any problems like people rushing to banks or ATMs to drain their accounts before their money is stolen.

EDIT: Good news, they've (shockingly) voted against this.

Thanks, Dice. When I posted these to my Facebook I put emphasis on the sex change part in the titles. As if a school teacher committing suicide wasn't enough, they had to make a freak show out of it.
