Jesus Christ....

I have no idea why but the wording of that article cracked me up. It's just so... nonchalant.

Maybe it's because "twisted perverted ass" doesn't work in print (or official news sites).

And yeah I wouldn't want more detail.  I've heard of children, or rather, infants being sexually assaulted, but when I did it's because the fella was legitimately functioning with screws loose in the brain.

My dad is a member of the Children's Panel in the UK.  They make decisions regarding abused and/or troubled children, so he sees horror stories beyond imagining nearly every week. Since he is in contact with the kids who get abused, news like this just breaks him.

Neverland Company, the developers of Lufia, Rune Factory, and the Shining Force Neo and EXA games, will cease operations on November 29 2013 because they have failed to successfully raise funds to continue their business. In a few days they will officially begin bankruptcy proceedings.

I guess I'll never play a Rune Factory game now.

I was always hoping that the next one would be good enough for me to finally make the jump.
Sad because, according to the reviews, they were getting really close.

(kinda like I'm doing with Atelier games... I'm pretty sure I'll play the next one though. Seriously!)

Let me just say that I'm very impressed by his work.  He has to be extremely strong to engage with that kind of thing on a regular basis.

The weird thing about the Neverland bankruptcy is that Rune Factory 4 was their most successful game ever.  There are plenty of companies I can understand going bankrupt because they just don't have the sales but how badly managed was Neverland to go bankrupt right after a hit like that?  Or how much debt were they holding onto...

Fair play to the guy.

I know dealing with stuff like that would break me.

What!  If there was ever a time for that Star Wars NOOOOOOO picture it is now.  I just discovered how great Rune Factory 3 is (should have been in the DS top 20 list).  Please tell me that Rune Factory games will not cease to be made.  Sad news indeed.

Since I believe Marvelous produces the Rune Factory games, I'm hoping they won't just let the IP die into oblivion, but whether or not they actually do anything with it is another question altogether.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

Depends how much is filmed?? :S

Damn, that is a shame.  I watched Running Scared the other day too...

Worst way to go for a fellla who's claim to fame was in a series of car flicks.

Too fast, too soon.
