The Card game hearts, in case it needed clarification. =P

I get the rules and the game...at elast I thought I understood.
Unfortunetely, I don't understand the instruction too well either; because even after following them I still end up scoring the highest most often (or 3rd placing it).

The main thing I don't understnad is what you should do in order to keep your score low.  I've tried placing highs, lows, faces (I don't even wanna start thinknig about Shooting the Moon unless trying to stop anotehr player).

I honestly appreciate any help or tips. =/

As I recall, the "dealer" for each hand plays a card. The highest card from that suit "wins" the round, and subsequently all the cards laid. Unfortunately, as you have already realised, the aim of the game is to lose all of your cards. Always play the card of the initial suit laid each hand, or an entirely different suit altogether!
