I love that Xiaoyu even if she is wearing platform wedges, lol  (yes I know a little bit about shoes, have 2 sisters.).

I played TTT2 a fair amount at E3, because I enjoy fighting games.  Nothing revolutionary, just the good ol' tight Tekken gameplay you know and love.  It was quite fun.  Dead or Alive 5 and Persona 3: Arena (which is basically Guilty Gear or BlazBlue with Persona characters) are fun too.  Nothing that reinvents the wheel, but all very solid fighters.

That's good to know. But as someone who hasn't played any Tekken since the 5th game I'm gonna see a ton of changes for sure, it also helps that the "Tag" games in Tekken are Dream Matches like KOF '98 and 2002. That means that dead or obscure characters from previous games in the main series can return because there's no story that gets in the way to put a character or not.

I'm kinda hesitating in getting P4 Arena and DOA5 for now.

I haven't played Tekken 6 either, but I managed to intuitively get into Tekken Tag 2 with minimal issues.

P4U is looking like it might have a pretty good story and plays completely different than TTT2.  Why not get both?

I don't think I'll have enough money to get it when is released.

Lee Chaolan's bikini briefs....I'd pay money for that and actually learn to use him just to troll online. It would be glorious.

But yeah, Harada is definitely a boss.

Yeah that's pretty awesome.  I'm terrible at Tekken games, but I may pick this up regardless because it looks fun as hell and they definitely listened to their fans.

Tekken Tag 2 - Summertime (Bikini DLC) Trailer

im hoping the music is good. the original TTT for ps2 has the finest music in the series imo.

Its not bad, there are plenty of tracks in the soundtrack are pretty catchy.

Picked this up yesterday. Definitely the prettiest tekken game thus far, but a couple things took hits to allow it. The customization options from 6 took a hit, resulting in a more limited amount of clothing and attachment options so far. Most of it is just the same outfit on different characters. To add insult to injury, the customizable parts of a character have been dumbed down. Now the options consist of head (though hair still has subsets), upper and lower combination, upper body, and lower body. There's also a bunch of attachments which are mostly item move, and some effects and rage aura colors. It's similar to tekken 6 on psp, so if you played that you'll feel somewhat familiar.

Now for the good. EVERYTHING ELSE! Seriously, the entire everything is overhauled from 6. Better designs on characters, better music, better stages, more stages, more characters....everything a person could want in a fighting game has been delivered.  And for us dicked out ps3 users, they added tekken tunes, which allows you to customize music in game, even using your own hdd tuneage for stage music or menu ambiance. Playing castlevania bloodlines while I whupped a dragunov/yoshimitsu was just awesome.

Tekken fans, we got a good one here.
