My son found a show he wants bad but it is labeled as a Malaysia Government release. Is this legit and if so why in the world is the price so much cheaper than what appears to be a more normal(?) release? I understand it's an editing issue, but I've also read that many of the releases are fan subbed/dubbed and not official, so..now I am really confused.

It's a bootleg. Basically anything sold online from Malaysia is, but anything with an 'official certificate' or released 'by the government' is 100% fake. They're usually very low quality too (both the video quality and subbing quality), hence the low price.

Thanks, and yeah, I was a tad concerned about the price, the old saying "anything too good to be true" seemed apt!
