My Guild disbanded, some 30 people just up and left WoW. Most are sick of it, can't blame them really (game is getting shit boring). Well they left in the hope that something new and challanging will be out soon. Might follow suit.

Heh, only incoming MMO that remotely interests me is Age of Conan.  :p  But yeah, I can see why there'd be an incredible amount of fatigue for some since it's the same damn thing over and over again.

Most of us are closing in on 2 years of play, and most of us a re closing in on 14 odd months of being lvl 60. So that means most of us are closing in on having grinded the likes of MC and BWl for 8-10 months.

I recently re-rolled an ORc Warrior level 45, but now I'm starting to think whats the point, end game is rubbish anyway, and I've already played Warrior. Think my love (affair) with WoW is on the decline.

Games our online community are looking into:

Aion
WAR
EQ2
Vangaurd
LOtR's Online

I haven't really logged on to do anything 'fun' in this game in like 4 months now, I just raid whatever and log off to play EVE. Funny, really.

Having never really been in the end game stuff....I wonder....do you guys just see the first 59 levels as rubbish? I mean...I have three 40+ characters and more lowbie alts than I can count and I still find that shit fun. I love running the low level instances and I dont think I could get tired of it.

So for you guys that have been at the high level end game shit for a long time now, I only ask you....what classes havent you tried that you once dismissed as boring? I mean, look at Masamune....he has a ton of characters and doesnt seem too vocal about his distaste for the end game stuff.

Yeah, I have 5 Level 60's and some lower level guys.  I've debated just playing all the damn classes to 60, since I'm over half way there.

The only thing that has burnt me out on this game is the fact that I have 2 characters in full tier 1 and 2.  That took a lot of time and a decent amount of runs of the end game instances, to the point that it's really no fun anymore.  I'm hoping Burning Crusade has some fun instances, hopefully ones that don't take 4 hours to clear.

Edit: I've leveled a lot of my guys with a friend, so the lower levels are always a lot of fun for me, seeing as I already have 2/5 people for an instance anytime I want.  Level a healer and a tank together and you'll hit 60 in no time.

I prefer screwing around to endgame instances in general, though I haven't touched AQ/Nax yet (my guild's pushing for trying out Nax, so it's possible I'll be going there soonish whether I want to or not).  I have 43 characters total, and while a whole lot of those I don't play a lot, on the other hand a good 15 of those are 20+ (with most ~40 or higher).  I'm not really in it to farm the same endgame instances for my class set or whatever 52000 times, I'm in it for fun.  Unfortunately, I think a lot of people are more in it for the phat loot after a while. :P

The first 59 levels to me, at this stage having already got 3 level 60's (this will be my fourth) are just trash levels. It's ironic really, at this stage the Game begins and Ends at lvl 60.

I've been around since the start, I've raided my pants off for 13 months, Warrior and Rogue in Tier 2/2.5 and all that jazz. Blizzard need to take a step back from their game and realize that 'Raid culture' isn't the way to go, World of Warcraft has so much more potential than to just be an epic grind fest.

Look at it this way, all the runs for the equipment are obsolete in less than 2 months, Blizzard pumping out new instances like there's no tomrrow.

I dislike it now, the sense of er.. I dunno, it's like you need fuck all dedication to get to 60 in WoW and raid, which is why you have 12 year old's spamming your raid channel with "ZOMG epiXX Gieb!", really starting to bring an ugly side out in me, listening to Kid's go on all day.

But meh, anyway, Burning Crusade might fix some of these issues.

I always felt that the game was at it's best on the Alliance side up till after completing Duskwood quests. I've made so many alts, and deleted them, just to play around the early level stuff. Though I rarely play since I need to focus on college. I've already slacked enough to push myself back a semester or two. I figure I might as well cancel my account since in two weeks I think I've played an hour, and the week before that a couple. But, yeah, if you like the beginning like me, just do that stuff. You could try starting from scratch on another server. I find whenever I was escorted occasionally through the earlier dungeons, that it wasn't very fun. I don't care for the pvp aspect of the game. I feel pvp should stay with the fps or any real time games. Though I only have 1 level 60 (warrior) and started two weeks after the release of World of Warcraft.

-In conclusion, if you're thinking about quitting, you should probably for a month. If you get that nostalgic feeling and really want to play it again, just try it again.

P.S. I saw videos of Age of Conan and Lord of the Rings online, and they both look like shit, but thats just me.

I personally got out of WoW months ago.. play CoH these days, when I want to play an MMO.  If things go well, I might pick up Tabula Rasa once it comes out.

Depending on how the Beta goes.

Have CoV, don't like it that much though, I'm a stickler for Fantasy MMO's :/

nice character design options though, I must say that. best in any MMO.

Yeah for me, im done with MMO's.  Nothing really strikes a fancy, not even Conan.

Maybe Warhammer...if its not a WoW clone...though Warcraft is technically a clone of Warhammer...*head hurts*

Im gonna stick to buying SP games, since theres a crapload I havnt gotten yet, and I need to play...not to mention ones that are coming out soon.
